No, but you do need the Qt4 headers, typically
provided by a
package named qt4-devel or similar.

Conclusion of my investigations:
The Qt/Mac Binary Distribution installs all its libraries and includes in the framework style common to most Mac OS applications. All the necessary stuff is there, I created a script (dirty, not quite mature jet, can be improved) that extracts this file, resorts and renames them and creates a folder with the classical lib and include directories. I successfully compiled LyX with this created directory.

Does anyone think this is an interesting way to go for Mac users that don't want to compile Qt for themselves? If yes, I will improve the script to be more robust and flexible.
