You probably already know that LyXWinInstaller/ contains the source of
Uwe's installer. I agree that LyXWinInstaller/ could (should) be moved
and/or renamed. The question is what to call it and where to place it.
Here's the structure of the relevant directories:

To begin with, I think the name 'LyXWinInstaller' could be changed. Having
'LyX' in the name is not needed in my opinion. Uwe needs to
comment/approve an alternative name of course.
Assuming we call the directory e.g. 'altInstaller', we could for instance
move and rename
development/Win32/packaging/installer/LyXWinInstaller/
to
development/Win32/packaging/altInstaller
Moving and renaming LyXWinInstaller/ will not affect the official
installer (Joost's code). I don't think it will affect Uwe's code, but he
should verify this.
