It was attached, but it should be possible that you could fix the ui file by yourself. You wrote in a other mail This seems to work and I do not know why. But if I 1. create a new dialog 2. put a push button 3. put a group box 4. put a lineedit in group box 4.b layout vertically within the group box (left click on a free group box background) 5. select push button and group box 6. layout vertically groupbox is a groupbox of size 0 (?) and lineedit disappears. This bothered me quite a bit and reading designer help did not help. You've forgotten 4b. Peter
