There are two possibilities to support ArabTeX and ARABI together in LyX: 1) to specify which one we would like to use througout the file 2) to specify that we like to use ArabTeX for some part of the file instead of ARABI (note that the other way is not possible) The question is whether we would like to have both of these possibilities. Abdel, be careful that if you want to provide the Arabic suppot based on ArabTeX then I am afraid that you should not commit the changes I suggested for the numbers.
