Dov, I don't deny you the right to express your opinion (it is of
course welcome) but I'd like to clarify one thing: the tree is _not_
destabilizing! 1.5 is much cleaner and stabler than 1.4, period.
Yes, definitely!!!
Sorry but I am a bit fad up with this continuous flagellation about
our current development process, our failed promises to the users, our
lack of focus, etc.
Yes, I also don't know why people are so depressed. We did an excellent
job. Period. The only alternative to our current development process
(from a higher perspective - I am no talking about the details) is to
throw away the complete code and start from scratch. I guess nobody is
willing to go that way :-)
I personally feel proud of what we achieved in one year of
development. Also I *personally* don't feel belted by the regressions
introduced by 1.4: I was not there.
I am sorry about every regression but I am still proud of what we have
achieved.
I am repeating myself but developers need motivation. And I am clearly
loosing motivation right now.
No. Don't stop after 97% of the work has been completed. This would be
too silly!
OK, boys, it's bug fixing time!
