José,I had a closer look at de.po today - about 600 (!) new messages due to the math toolbar!
I think we should ask the translators as soon as possible for po updates. I will send a request later this weekend.
IMHO, we should release yet another beta in about 2-3 weeks. The first 1.5.0 release candidate may then be ready by the end of May. At this time, we should also create a 1.5.X branch in the repository.
