IIRC it is split up in several Georg> packages, maybe you did not install all? But our support requires nomencl newer than 2005/09/22. From what I understand, old ones do not have \makenomenclature but \makeglossary. So I suspect that Timothy (who is of the older type as I am) has the right file, but not of the right version. Using a package with such unstable interface is a pain (and an error IMO). JMarc
