Hi,
i tried hard to commit my bibtex parser patch, but i cannot get TortoiseSVN to ask me for a password. I only always get the error message "Authorization failed". Can any Windows user tell me what to do?

I use plink (seach for 'putty plink' in google, it is a free program) for ssh and I've put this in my config file:

i can't find a config file

Hum yes, I mixed it up with my svn client installation I guess, this one is in:
C:\Documents and Settings\yns\Application Data\Subversion\config

- in the explorer context menu i can find TortoiseSVN->Settings and under "network" i can enter an ssh client. But no matter what i enter it does not work. A fresh checkout just displays a plink console window and nothing happens.

Here I have this:
d:/program/putty/PLINK.EXE -ssh -l younes -pw mypassword

Maybe you forget the password bits?

Do i have to generate an ssh key pair somewhere?

Are you able to login to aussie.lyx.org with plink at the command line? If yes first thing to do is to change your password:

C:\Documents and Settings\yns>d:/program/putty/PLINK.EXE -ssh -l younes aussie.lyx.org
The server's host key is not cached in the registry. You
have no guarantee that the server is the computer you
think it is.
The server's rsa2 key fingerprint is:
ssh-rsa 1024 d5:1b:a4:6c:46:c0:ed:ef:e1:42:67:fd:a1:c5:52:47
If you trust this host, enter "y" to add the key to
PuTTY's cache and carry on connecting.
If you want to carry on connecting just once, without
adding the key to the cache, enter "n".
If you do not trust this host, press Return to abandon the
connection.
