The crash happens in a math-macro inset. Math macros are broken and cause a crash btw. - is that known?Create a math macro with arguments. When you use it some text is overlapping when modifying the arguments -> Metrics are incorrect. Save the file, close and reopen it. When trying to edit the macro arguments lyx crashes (it creates wrong metrics (uninitialized size information?) and the constructor of Point asserts)
