I'm not sure what you'd like help with, please expand and I'll help.

If you'd like to delete a page, just replace the text of the page with the single word

        delete

and the page will be deleted[*].

OK, I did this (and in addition [[!Uncategorized]] that it insisted upon... I didn't see it delete anything.

That was a bug - I've fixed it now. (And deleted GSoC2007-surfboard while testing that it actually works)

I still need your help in renaming GSoC2007 to 2008, and GSoC2007-lyxtab to 2008-app-worksheet or something.

I've renamed the pages. (The way a normal user renames a page in PmWiki is manually copying the content of e.g. GSoc2007 and creating the new page GSoC2008 with that content. Then deleting GSoC2007).

When doing this I actually noticed one advantage of the Media Wiki: keeping a document separate from discussing that document. Is there an easy way to do that here?

I'm not sure I understand... is this like a '-talk'-page? In PmWiki, I think the convention is to simply create a page called e.g.

        GSoC2008-talk, GSoC2008-comments or GSoC2008-discussion

Is this what you mean?

/C
