Short answer: no
Long answer: the only optimisation WRT drawing is the singlePar one.
Unfortunately:
1) it doesn't apply to math inset, only text.
2) it doesn't apply anyway when a background redraw is required.
As I said, I know how to solve this problem (by separating background
and decoration drawing from text drawing). A big part of the
infrastructure is already in place. Now, we _only_ have to rewrite the
rowpainter; but this is not for 1.5.
