I think this came to when I battled with some conversion stuff, and
wanted to use UCS-4-INTERNAL... and discovered that the glibc provided
iconv does not have that.

I might very well just have forgotten that I already had a codest var
in unicode.C. I cannot really recall.

I belive your patch is ok.
