Trying to compile lyx-devel:
->./autogen.sh && env LD_OPTIONS=-R/usr/local/lib ./configure
--with-version-suffix=-1.5.0svn --with-frontend=qt4
--with-qt-dir=/usr/local/qt-4.2.1 --with-extra-lib=/usr/local/qt-4.2.1/lib &&
make LD_OPTIONS=-R/usr/local/lib && make install-strip
Fails on msgmerge (version 0.14.5):

Message conversion to user's
charset will not work.

Works fine on 1.5.0beta1.
Should I upgrade msgmerge ?
