It is indeed the preferable way, but I mentioned the other methods as
alternatives, if we can't get LaTeX to to what we want
(in several minutes I was able to write a python script that formats a
hollywood latex file (inserting pagebreaks, adding "speaker (cont.)", etc.
The result is quite reasonable, considering the time I've spent on the script).

Also note that the 3rd option, (doing the typesetting without using LaTeX)
has the benefit that someone who is interested in LyX only for writing scripts,
doesn't need to install Latex (= many Mb).
On second thought, this will prohibit that person from using LyX for other
tasks, which is not a good thing...
