This is not needed as, on Windows and Mac (I think), the event queue will wait for the event to be finished before starting a new one.
Anyway, this patch makes scrolling (By Pg Up/Down) usable for me on a slow display. This solution is basically the same we used for XForms for the very same issue. Enjoy (or be disgusted your choice)
I like it :-) and believe it or not I was about to try the same thing... But I didn't know about XEventsQueued.
