After returning from PanelStack::qt_invoke in panelstack_moc.cpp it hangs. So it's a bug in Q../Free.
I'll roll back an older Q../Free version and create 1.4.4-4 builds. Sorry for keeping you busy uploading to ftp.lyx.org.
Fortunately it will be one of the last releases with an unofficial Qt. Joost
