There have seen several posts about the problem with hanging postscript previews. After some fairly trivial tests I get the impression that this has to do with old gs runs which never make it because lyx was stopped early ro crashed. I also found tons of tmp - files in /tmp. After removing old tmp-s and killing 5 old (hanging) gs-s I get my figure previews without any problems. Do you use -dBATCH and -dNOPAUSE? -- Ulrich Günther
