That depends on how you use latex.
There is the well-known example of a latex "program" that
typesets prime numbers by generating them rather than
having them in the source.
If your article is about computer science, then it is indeed possible to
demonstrate directly in latex rather than typing in results obtained
otherwise. ;-)
