Can you test out one of these installers (uninstall the already installed LyX
before):
http://developer.berlios.de/projects/lyxwininstall/
(there either LyXWinInstaller or LyX150test-builds)
I got some feedback that this problem does not occur with these installers. Please report if this is
true.
