Looks nice. I have two problems, though:

You need to go out of the caption first with the left arrow key and then
press 'Enter'. Maybe we need to put two empty paragraphs before and
after the caption and run the new DEPM from Michael when the cursor goes
out of the float.
2. The linebreaks inside captions need to be \protect'ed. This is why you get
the LaTeX error (1.4 protects line breaks).
Could you take care of that please? I am not well versed in LateX...
