In any case, I would like whatever solution is chosen to warn the user
that the Dvipost installation is missing pplatex. Not enabling "show
changes" without revealing to the user why would not be an improvement
over the current situation, IMHO.
Hmmmm... should we handle this in configure.py? My feeling is that this
special case shouldn't be handled by LyX itself.
Any ideas?
