Question: should I be reporting bugs of this sort here or should I put
them straight into bugzilla?
Well, some bugs are fixed that quickly that it isn't worth adding them
to bugzilla.
If you are lazy, put them straight into bugzilla; otherwise, post them
to the mailing list, wait for a day, and add them to bugzilla if they
haven't been fixed in the meantime.
