Scons still works but there is an unconfirmed 64bit win bug for scons;
and debugging in cmake is easier.

I read INSTALL.Win32 (duh...). So the Windows alternative would then use these tools:

* MSVC 2005
** Windows platform SDK
* Scons (or CMAKE, although INSTALL.Win32 doesn't mention CMAKE)
* Python

and of course I know that I need:
* (Tortoise)SVN
* Emacs

What else would I need?

What's the difference between Scons and CMAKE (which is faster?)
