That is exactly what I want to do ... I install LyX in a multiuser environment and I want to set some "global" options. Previously I was using "/usr/.../lyx/lyxrc", but it no longer works, I tried also "/usr/.../lyx/preferences", but it does not work either. The only way to set some "global" options is via "/usr/.../lyx/lyxrc.dist", but I have not found any place saying it. > Where did you find references to 'lyxrc'?
