Perhaps. However, I was getting them only on Solaris and they seem
to have disappeared after I switched from GNU libiconv 1.8 to the
system provided iconv implementation.
We should get rid of the iconv dependency. I was half joking earlier
when I said that we should just use QtCore but now I am more convinced
that we should do it.
