I agree with Martin, I am worried with the possible implications for Mac. I
would like to see this issue cleared before the patch being applied.
Note that I am not rejecting the patch, I am concerned with not introducing
regressions in all the supported platforms, this includes those where we have
regular reports: linux; win; mac; solaris, etc.
As Bo said, the repaint happens only when one moves the mouse over a
button, that's all.
Hmmm, according to the code (AFAICS) it should be doing a
single-paragraph update only. But Abdel reports a whole-screen update.
What is really happening?
I don't know but this should be fixable.
