Can one just add utf-8 and expect it to work? I saw in lyx-devel that it is not clear whether support for utf-8 will be there in 1.5.0... I pulled the code frm svn and will try to build it to see how well can LyX play with XeTeX...bot Kile & Texmaker work with utf-8 so it will be pitty if LyX is lacking proper support...
