As I've seen in your Debug-Messages we know exactly when we enter and
leave the Screen-Area, so why not change the Cursor type there. Would
that be very hard?

Well it's a matter of taste and I think it does matter :), but also here
how hard is it to check this flag and draw it with the corect background?
