Hi all, I'm a professional writer with a law degree. I don't have abundant time, but I do have available time. I'd like to help where I can. I do a fair amount of technical writing, and I am a very avid FreeBSD user, a LyX, and a TeTeX user. I'm a real LyX fan and would love to help. I'd also like to throw in my two cents about desired features, i.e., a template creation utility, color filled boxes? You all are doing a great job. Keep it up. When I, and many like me think of LyX, we dream of it being an Adobe killer. The freelance writers and printers of the world would love to have an app that can make biz cards, high quality brochures and other professional looking printed/PDF material w/o the need for vi/TeX editing. I feel that this is the direction that y'all are moving so I'm pretty excited about LyX. I don't get too excited about software (except for windowmaker) so this is fun.
