That is not completely true. The last time I checked before unicode
1.5/qt4
was slower than 1.5/qt3 on linux (I never compared to 1.4, but that would
not be a fair frontend comparison anyway). I don't say qt4 is bad, but I
don't want to rewrite history.
It was quicker on Lars machine. And that was the only one who gave me
numbers.
