The other one. It makes clear that there is a problem. This one hides the
problem more elegantly. When the coord cache is used it should be valid. If
that is not the case then there is a logical problem in the code.
After thinking a bit more about it, I think you're right. And the
additional FIXMEs are there to point to the problem if someone wants to
tackle that.
I'll commit the first patch.
