Why wouldn't it be possible to write

I would really like to see this session file have a reasonable syntax.
Currently, each section has its own.
The amount of information saved for each type of stuff are different,
and that is why we do not have a fixed syntax. Currently, session
provides special treatments for bookmarks, lastfiles, lastopened, and
leaves a 'misc info' for arbitrary key=value pairs, that are currently
used to save/restore geometry.
It is of course possible to add special treatment for toolbars, but I
do not see a strong need for that.
