I am not sure either of what I am looking for :( Could it be that the problem is we open files with the editor or viewer roles and these roles are registered by different programs? It may be that finder uses editor (which goes to apercu) and that the viewer role is registered by quicktime. I do not know how you can check that, though. JMarc
