other things are probably more important: closing dialogs crashes lyx, tables are seriously fucked up, things are slow. unfortunately the lyx core is a dark scary forest.
nevertheless, i am planning to do something about the toolbar situation: make it configurable etc.
but maybe it is a good idea to combine the menu and toolbar actions first. + add icon, + allow sequence of lyxfuncs...
unfortunately i am extremely busy with real life atm so this is still very much day dreaming...
