More seriously I had the impression that your code was almost ready at one point... I guess you just missed the train but none of my change involved track changes except for the new showDialog boost signal. So it should not be that difficult to make it work again.

Other CT code hasn't even been fixed in my branch (due to a lack of time at that time).

All I can do is repeating what I did in the branch but this time in the branch. As long as this happens in a structured and careful way, IMHO there is nothing wrong with this approach. The trunk is unusable anyway. Who cares about CT for about a few weeks?

Go ahead, I guess you are the only one that knows about it but if I were you, I would fix my branch and commit it in one chunk. I fear that your solution would just make you waste time. But that's your code, you certainly know better than me ;-)
