okular as embedded viewer. From usability point of view, I am not very
happy about xdvi windows popping around my desktop.
Pop it up once - position it, and use update->dvi from then on.
How would you want to use an embedded viewer? If it appears in the
same window then it prevents editing while viewing. And if it appears
in a separate window - no difference from the external app case. Except
that external apps runs in separate processes and so their bugs can't
crash lyx.
