I am quite happy with 1.4.2 except that it is

To reinforce what I said before. Mainly because of the time that it took for
1.3.x to mature that last stable version of 1.3, 1.3.7, was IMHO the best lyx
release to date. The lyx 1.4 series is in its way to pass it, which is quite
an achievement considering the time necessary for it.
Jean-Marc's role is essential due to the essential QA policy followed, that
is reflected also in trunk. I know that it is not Friday, or Monday, but I
think that sometimes it is worth to mention what goes right, instead of just
saying what is going wrong.
FWIW, I completely agree with you. We *love* you JMarc for what you do! :-)
