And you can't test it on windows. I am afraid that you don't know enough about X selection in order to do this blindly. For example, do you know why there is a xsel_cache_, and how the X selection protocol works? selectionRequested and selectionLost do belong together, and now you change one of them. I am not sure whether that is good. You should get somebody with enough X knowledge to test this (no, I have no time). Georg
