These endless discussions about how to do it really
fed me up, especially from people who only complain about wasting resources
and don't do anything. Those who do the work should decide how it is done.
Well, I hope you don't include me in this group because I did some work
on the unicode front. Nevertheless my opinion is apparently worth nothing...
The same holds for the frontend discussion (which I tried to avoid taking
part, but only succeeded halfways).
These days more time is spent discussing waste of resources without any
results than actually developing. Maybe some people like that, but I don't.
Maybe those people will develop more if the way of developing is
changed? Maybe they need to agree on a way forward to feel motivated?
For example I have decided to stop all unicode work (following your
suggestion) because I think the current method is not good. But whatever
suggestion I am doing, it is rejected.
