As I recall, the windows version arrives with all fonts set to something innocuous, like MS Sans Serif. It's easy enough to change (so not a bug), but still, since as I understand it, all Windows versions can be assumed to contain TimesNewRoman, Arial and Courier, why not use them by default for serif, sans, and typewriter?
