I have some annotations to the Aspell6 dictionaries for Windows:
- When I uninstall Aspell Data the folder
C:\Aspell\lib
is not deleted. I expected that this as also removed when Aspell is
uninstalled.
- A collegue of mine informed me that there is now also an arabic Aspell
dictionary available:
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/ar/
While looking at it I noticed that the following dictionaries have been
updated since the last time the dictionaries were built for LyX:
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/fa/
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/ga/
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/he/
(Just for information if somebody builds the dictionaries when LyX 1.4.3
is coming.)

What is the reason that the ditionaries aren't available at aspells
windows page?:

I mean the builds are quite stable and many users will benefit from them.
