Not an objection but a notice that this Cut&Paste code is one of the
most ugly part of LyX. We have now *8* input argument to
pasteSelectionHelper. We really need to do something about this mess.
Bo, I remember reading a proposal from you back when I was in hollydays.
Do you still have something planned?
As for the new "targetlayout" parameter it is apparently only use once.
