CVS newbie question

The documentation on "Getting source code with CVS" at
www.devel.lyx.org/cvs.php3 is very clear and easy to
follow. However, I have one question.

Having logged on with:

        cvs login

and checked out or updated the source, shouldn't I logout
with:

        cvs logout

This should be made clear on the web page.
