Most lyxrc variables get set correctly so you need to be more
specific.
Also you can dump the lyxrc variables with the lyx command
"preferences-save" that will create a file ~/.lyx/preferences

| right now and I think this can wait. For now I just disable the switch
| to this feature in buffer.C
