was "Re: 'new'/'delete' and malloc()/free() - lclint for C++?"
I've finally gotten around to reading this thread. Seems the email I
posted late last week about the development strand was already discussed
in this thread -- the word "new" is in the subject so I suppose a change
of subject wasn't really necessary. Oh wait its not Friday yet so I'll
have to retract that sarcasm or at least add a smiley or two ;-) :-P

I'm glad somebody thinks my long emails are not just long but important
as well. ;-)
I've a large collection of emails on all LyX topics as I'm sure most
developers would. I've got about 30 on gui-indep that I need to reread
and work into the gui-indep documentation (I've been saying that for about
6 months now I think).
I've a small selection on programming topics like LString usage and such
that could be added to coding style or to the comments in the code.
I'll let you pick your starting topic and then I'll send you the
appropriate umpteen-dozen emails. How's that sound?
To start you off here's a small list of topics. Feel free to add a few
more:
Layout files
Scripting language support
Programming guidelines (C++ syntax through to LString usage)
New kernel
Wishlists and todo lists (this would be good)
SGML support
and probably a few others I can't think of at present.
