BTW Lars, I have accumulated a few small changes/fixes for lyx-devel. Do you
want me to send a patch, or will you give me write permission? I can
live without write permission for now, and I do not want to cause
problems with the different branches...
On a related note, we have now ChangeLog, CHANGES and WHATSNEW to
document changes. I propose that we move CHANGES out of the way, and
rename WHATSNEW to NEWS (in good GNU style). Then NEWS could be a bit
more descriptive than WHATSNEW currently is, something like a
shortened version of CHANGES (hiding preversions) which documents only
user-visible changes. Does it seem reasonable?
