Hi LyXers,
reading the LaTeX fntguide (chapter 5.1), is says
Warning: If you wish to use T1-encoded fonts other than the 'cmr'
family then you may need to load the package (e.g. times) _before_
loading fontenc. [...]
I think this should be changed in LyX.
