It seems to me that someone fixed an almost identical bug that I 
reported a few months ago.  DOes anyone remember doing that?  The 
reason I ask is that if we've found two of these "click away from ERT & 
crash" things, a) there might be more, and b) they might have a common 
root that should be fixed.
