bug report: document doesn't update status after editing, before preview

LyX version: 1.0.2
Latex version: 1998/12/01

When I edit a document and preview/print it for the first time during a
session, all is fine. When I make more changes and preview again, LyX will use
the previously compiled dvi/ps files rather than noting the change and
recompiling the document.

I love this program!
