Right, this is a LaTeX default.

We need someone to work on it, but to begin working on it some other
gui independence stuff must be done first. So if you (or anyone else)
has some experience (you don't need that much) with programming
(preferably C++) you can join in. For the porter to Gtk this will be a
valuable experience anyway, even if it takes some time before the real
Gtk work can begin.
